Here we are already into another brand new year again. Is one of your New Years resolutions to lose that belly?
Yes now that all of the holidays are in the past, some of us are realizing that we may have over done it a little with some of those irresistible desserts.
So if you have made the resolution to take off some extra weight, that is a good first step! But do you really know where to go next?
There are so many weigh treducing programs and weight losing plans out there, that it can be mind boggling.Do you want to try weight losing diets, calorie counting, or just plain old fashioned exercising?
Is there even a right or wrong answer? Can your budget even accommodate one of those weight loss programs? As far as I know, they can get pretty expensive. Some of them want you on astrict diet of only the food they provide you with. I know that just going to the grocery store can be very expensive, but I imagine that having to buy special entrees will get very expensive real quick.
Calorie counting might be a good way to go, but to me it just sounds way to complicated. So I can tell right now that I wouldn’t be trying that plan. I have enough to think about every day, so I don’t need to complicate things any further. Exercise is not a four letter word, but many people would like to think that it is. Sorry, but the plain old fashioned exercise has proven it self time and again. The hardest thing though with exercising is just getting started!
One of the good things about exercising, is that there are so many different ways of doing it! You can run, jump rope, ride a bike, row a boat, do calisthenics, walk your dog, or just put on some good music and dance all around the house! Go ahead and try it!
Give yourself a few minutes every day. You might just be amazed at how good you start feeling! Then before you know it, you are looking real good too! There is nothing in the world like a compliment, out of the blue, from someone that you respect. Its also real nice to hear your significant other tell you how good you are looking.
If that’s not incentive, then I don’t know what is!
